2018 Planned Castings
It is my plan to cast the following works in 2018.
The works noted for Spring 2018 should be available for the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo at the end of March, 2018. The Fall works should be available for the Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expo in September, 2018.
Spring 2018
Fairy on Twig
This fairy will include the fruit and leaves.
I may attempt to fabricate the wings in glass. This is highly experimental.
Spring 2018
Asuna
This heroine will have the white parts of her uniform cast in white bronze. Her hair will be in yellow brass. Her skirt will either be enamelled in red or produced with a copper colour.
The stone work and rings are classic and are the reason for casting this figurine.
Spring 2018
Cancelled due to furnace rebuild.
Duck Team
This Girls und Panzer casting will cast both the tank and all the Duck Team members of the defunct volleyball club from Ooarai Girls High School.
Spring 2018
Cancelled due to furnace rebuild.
Wonder Woman
This is a 1/7 scale sculpture of Wonder Woman shown with her signature bulletproof bracelets.
Spring 2018
Fall 2018
Raquel Gothic
This figurine should turn out to be a beautiful casting, possibly applicable to the steampunk genre.
Her wings are the main reason for this work.
Fall 2018
Sora Kasugano
The bunny motif is classic. This is the main reason for this work.
This figurine is holding a small bunny in her lap. I will also cast the stool that she sits upon.
Fall 2018
Postponed to another year.
Hi Bill. I may be interested in the faerie on the twig. Love faeries.
Have you given any thought to witches?
Margaret
Hi Margaret,
Thanks for your comment. I will post WIP entries when I begin the faerie, but this may not happen until winter.
I have a cute witch, but she is 1:6 scale and will be a reasonably big cast. This means that she will be relatively expensive. She is also a little risqué. I am looking for a more suitable witch but I haven’t yet found one.
What do you think? Should I cast this?
