Description

The horse, a stallion, was cast from 760 grams of silicon bronze. A dark black patina was applied on the whole horse to make the sculpture appear more traditional.

The patina was sealed with wax.

I personally prefer the natural bronze color of the metal but for reasons that I don’t fully understand most traditional bronzes all have a dark patina. I wanted this sculpture to appear traditional, yet still follow my signature style.

The petrified wood is unique.

The piece is mounted on custom shaped and polished granite stone.
