This is a bronze casting of Hina Ichigo shown with her toy dog Kun Kun.

Hina Ichigo is a bronze casting containing over 1.2 kilograms of solid metal in various alloys. Her body and dress are cast in an ancient bronze alloy of copper and tin. Kun Kun, her puppet toy is cast in a white bronze alloy. She stands on a solid bronze cushion that has been cast in a yellow brass alloy.

This piece is mounted on a custom fabricated granite base. She has been soldered together with a low temperature tin solder.

White bronze is an alloy that looks like silver, with 58% copper, 1% lead and various amounts of manganese, zinc and aluminum. Yellow brass is an alloy that includes 63% copper, 1% lead, and various amounts of zinc and tin.
