I have started to cast my sculpture of a faerie on a twig. This work was planned for the spring of 2018.

This faerie is of the type I like to do because it is more than just a figurine. I plan to put some coloured quartz or crystals on the piece when I put it together.

It has taken a fair amount of silicone rubber to create to moulds. This will make the work more costly, but there is nothing that can be done. The following picture shows the moulds I have been making for the last month. I am still not finished as I have yet to mould the wings. I will likely have used a full 5 kg of silicone rubber by the time this is done.
