Over the last few years I have obtained a large number of amethyst geodes from Sidi Rahal, Morocco. These geodes when paired with my bronze sculptures add a unique perspective to my art. Nothing can compare.

The amethyst from Sidi Rahal is not at all like the more common amethyst from Brazil. The Sidi Rahal amethyst coloration and internal structure is quite specific and characteristic for this region. Amethyst geodes from Morocco have become interesting gems among mineral collectors. They provide a unique influence to my art.

Amethysts are said to promote serenity and calm. Those who work with crystals may use the gemstones as a way to help reduce anxiety and perceptions of pain.
