Description

This is a bronze casting of a full sized bird of the size of a parrot or crow or small dinosaur. It is most suitable as a conversation piece for a pirate or a paleontologist.

This casting was produced from an individually created model. The model has been burned out and destroyed. This casting cannot be reproduced.

The work is cast in silicon bronze that contains 95% Cu, 4% Si, 1% Mn. Individual pieces such as the head, wings, legs, tail, and chest were silver soldered together. The piece has a patina applied to darken the metal.
