Panzer Girls 3
As I gave away my first copy of my Girls und Panzer casting, I had to make another of these tank turret models.
The 1:35 scale figures are soldered to the tank with low temperature silver bearing solder which is a tin solder. It’s not the strongest, but I would likely melt the figures if I tried to heat the tank up to red hot necessary to silver solder. Maybe?
Anyway, this is something new to try for next time.
The tanks are darkened with a liver of sulfur patina. I heat the work on the tripod to the point where water steams if sprayed on the metal, and then I spritz or spray a liver of sulfur solution onto the hat metal. The bronze almost instantly darkens (and the sulfur smells).
